What are the Pillars

The "Pillars" are overall categories of health and well being that are timeless in the positive impact to well being:
-Mobility
-Stability
-Nutrition
-Lifestyle
-Recovery

Who Can Benefit from the Pillars concept of health?
The straight forward answer is everyone! Better health can be achieved by incorporating healthy habits in the above mentioned categories.

Why the Pillars Work

The Pillars focus on utilizing natural and evidence based approaches as keys to well-being. We recognize the need for medication based methods of healing but prefer that people consider trying natural way before more aggressive treatment options. We adopted these "Pillars of Health and Wellness" as effective ways to improve your life. By using this philosophy as tool to improve yourself you will transform and revitalize your mind and keep your body youthful and strong.

Why Would I Take Advice From A Natural Approach Physician?

Atlas Health values all areas of medicine because we recognize that there are many different ailments that plague our bodies. Doctors of Chiropractic have always sought natural approaches to healing, and when conditions need additional care Chiropractors seek to work with other medical care providers to help patients. We particularly enjoy the advice of our chiropractor not only because of the natural approach but also because we think it is very beneficial to offer advice on a basis of starting at the most conservative treatments first. Sometimes more advanced care is needed so don't hesitate to visit your doctor to find out what options to healing your condition may benefit from. While there is a degree of overlap, healthcare providers use their particular expertise to heal and guide their community towards better health.

Our Editing Doctor,

Dr. Dexter Hinds, Chiropractic Physician, was born and raised in South Florida. He received his doctorate at Palmer College of Chiropractic at the Port Orange, FL campus. Since graduating he has had experience working with many patient populations and types of neurological and musculoskeletal system injuries. Some of the conditions that Dr. Hinds has seen great results with are:

  • Prevention/relief of low back pain
  • Prevention/relief of neck pain
  • Prevention/relief of headaches and/or migraines
  • Prevention/relief of stiff joints
  • Prevention/relief of the upper shoulder (deep upper trap area)
  • Prevention/relief of pain around the shoulder blade
  • Pain, Tingling and/or Numbness that travels into the extremity (arms, hands, fingers, legs, feet, or toes)

Dr. Hinds became interested in chiropractic after participating in his undergraduate internship physical rehabilitation program. He learned from many types of doctors but felt that chiropractors were hands on clinicians that are unique in the way they treat conditions that affect the muscles, nerves and bones.  He gravitated toward chiropractic’s natural approach to treatment and the emphasis on educating patients on stretching, exercise, and nutrition.

Dr. Hinds moved to Las Vegas in December 2019 and loves spending time with his family and exploring the many activities/events that Las Vegas has to offer, he most enjoys trying out different places and experiences that patients recommend.
